  Abstract: Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) composites, a self-lubricating material with low friction, became an indispensable material in engineering applications where load carrying capacity and wear are crucial. The pure PTFE has poor mechanical strength and wear resistance which can be enhanced by the addition of fillers in appropriate volume fraction.
