Abstract: Histological diagnosis of adrenal lesions is difficult and needs multiple approaches. Histopathological examinations of 31 adrenal specimens were categorized following Weiss and Pass method and scorings were done. Immunohistochemical and special stains were also performed. In the present study, the 12 medullary cases included pheochromocytoma, neuroblastoma, ganglioneuroma, metastasis to adrenal tissue and metstatic pheochromocytoma.19 cortical cases included cortical hyperplasia, adenomas, carcinomas, myelolipomas and one case of cortical carcinoma.
