Abstract: Magnetic fluids have promising potential for direct energy conversion system. Magnetic fluids are stable suspension of nano-sized ferromagnetic particles in suitable non-magnetic carriers like kerosene, organic liquids, water etc. The typical curie temperature of magnetic particles is controlled by selecting constituents of the ferromagnetic material.
