  Abstract: AbstractThis paper demonstrates validation of modified control algorithm for MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) for Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) based WECS (Wind Energy Conversion System). The main objective is maximizing the wind energy by optimizing the losses. MPPT algorithm implementation is done by performing control of duty cycle of DC to DC boost converter.
