Abstract: Amaranthus viridis.L is a weed and its fresh leaves were collected from Charotar University of Science and technology campus. After cleaning the leaves were separated and taken for study purpose. One gram of fresh leaves was initially crushed to remove carotenoids. Then other one gram of fresh leaves was taken.
