Abstract: Present study was designed to evaluate the nephroprotective effect of exogenous melatonin and insulin plant extract against diabetic induced renal alterations. Diabetic rat model was developed by intraperitoneal treatment of STZ to adult female rat (15 mg/kg) for continuous 6 days. Diabetes was confirmed by checking the blood glucose level.
