Abstract: Purpose: To evaluate the effect of the surfactant - sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) on curcumin microspheres.Methods: Curcumin microspheres were prepared by solvent evaporation method by varying the ratios of the polymers like Eudragit S 100, ethyl cellulose (EC). Ethanol/dichloromethane blend was used as solvent in a ratio of 1:1 to prepare the drug-polymer dispersion and the surfactant SLS was used to prepare the aqueous phase.
