Sacrifice of Younger Flowers for the Development of Older One Under Stressful Condition: An Interesting Report in Cereus peruvianus MillBy S. A. Deshmukh
Abstract: An interesting observation was made when the flowering phylloclade of Cereus peruvianus Mill. was cut and put in water for few days then the oldest bud developed into the flower while all the other younger buds get ceased.
