Application of Ultrasound for Synthesis of BiodieselBy NIRAJ SUBHASHRAO TOPARE, Kiran D. Patil, Parikshit Naik, Akash Sonawane, Pratik Joshi
Abstract: The aim of study is to synthesize a biodiesel from soybean oil using ultrasonic process. At present, biodiesel is produced in batch reactors in which the required energy is provided by heating by mechanical mixing. Alternatively, ultrasonic processing is an effective way to attain required mixing providing the necessary activation energy. Ultrasonic is a very desirable tool for producing biodiesel from vegetable oil and animal fats, because it lowers the …

Characterization of Activated Carbon Prepared from Citrus Sinensis (Orange) Peels by X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy (XRF)By NIRAJ SUBHASHRAO TOPARE, Pratik Joshi
Abstract: The orange (specifically, the sweet orange) is the fruit of the citrus species Citrus sinensis in the family rutaceae. Citrus sinensis (orange) fruit is one of the common traditional plants grown in many areas in India. The wastes of the Citrus sinensis (orange) fruit called orange peels were used to prepare activated carbon through chemical activation method. The activated carbon is an excellent adsorbent and its applications are widely described …
