    Screening of Phytochemical Constituents Towards Antimicrobial Potency of Hygrophila schulli

    Abstract: The present study was carried out to determine the invitro antibacterial and antifungal and phytochemical activity of Hygrophila schulli. In this study antimicrobial activity of leaves of Hygrophila schulli was studied by analyzing in different concentrations ranging from 100-500µg. We observed that at higher concentrations (>300 µg) ethanolic extract of Hygrophila schulli showed certain significant antimicrobial effect.
