Abstract: Injury to the cranium and face is a common finding in medico-legal autopsies. Blunt trauma to the cranium is most frequently caused by road traffic accidents, assaults, falls from height and also from impacts by machineries. However, road traffic accidents accounts for the commonest occurrence of cranio-facial injuries.
