    Abstract: Peripheral intravenous catheter insertion is a common nursing procedure often required for the administration of chemotherapy, antibiotics, blood products, fluids and other medical therapies. The insertion of intravenous cannula can be extremely difficult, particularly in individuals receiving repeated course of chemotherapy.
