Abstract: Abutilon indicum (A. indicum) is a traditional Indian phytomedicine plant used for the treatment of several diseases such as diabetes mellitus, cardiac diseases and anti-inflammatory diseases. The aim of the study was to evaluate whether A. indicum improves insulin sensitivity and determine its active role in bioactive secondary metabolites.
