  Abstract: Cardiovascular disease (CVD) rests leading reason of death globally, with atherosclerosis, the buildup of plaque in arteries, playing a central role. Current treatment strategies, including lifestyle changes and medications, often fall short in completely reversing or preventing the progression of atherosclerosis.
