Abstract: AbstractThe phytochemical studies on medicinal plants have served the dual purpose of bringing up new therapeutic agents, providing useful leads of chemotherapeutic studies directed towards the synthesis of drugs modeled on the chemical structure of natural products. Lantana camara is an important medicinal plant with ethnomedicinal properties.
