    Influence of B2O3 and Li2O on Physical, Thermal and Spectroscopic properties of Bi2O3-B2O3-CdO-Li2O glass system

    Abstract: ABSTRACT Bismuth Borate based glasses with compositions BiBCL: 40Bi2O3-(40-X) B2O3-20CdO-XLi2O where x=5,10,15,20,25 mol% were prepared by conventional melt quenching technique. X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential thermal analysis (DTA), UV-VIS absorption spectroscopy, Fourier transform-infrared (FTIR), and Raman spectroscopies were used to analyse the synthesized samples.     Effect of ZrO2 nanoparticles on Electrical conductivity of PVA/PVP polymer blend doped with ammonium iodide

    Abstract: This work reports the properties of solid polymer electrolyte films obtained via incorporating varying amounts of ZrO2 nanoparticles into the PVA/PVP polymer blend with ammonium iodide salt. Material synthesis was done by the solution casting technique. Frequency dependent impedance and conductivity parameters of polymer electrolyte films were investigated at different temperatures (303K-353K) using impedance spectroscopy.
