Abstract: The present study was designed to evaluate anti-diabetic activity of ayurvedic formulation ‘Betazen’ in experimentally induced insulin resistant rats. Wistar rats were being rendered insulin resistant by administration of dexamethasone (2 μg/day s.c), along with high fat-high sugar (HFHS) diet (i.e. vanaspati ghee and fructose enriched) for 42 days.
