Abstract: The incorporation of gadolinium directly into nuclear fuel is important for improving the reactor behavior and satisfying the safety criteria during the core lifetime. MCNPX (Monte Carlo N–Particle code extended) has been used for designing Advanced Boiling Water Reactor model.
