  Abstract: Gerbera jamesonii [Gerbera daisy) is a popular flowering plant susceptible to various microbial diseases. This paper explores disease control strategies for gerberas, focusing on the potential of novel polymer-based mulch films. Conventional mulching practices offer benefits in gerbera cultivation, including weed suppression that helps control pathogens.
