Development of Neuromorphic Polymer Composites Using IoT Sensing and Brain-Inspired Learning AlgorithmsBy Praveena Murala, Pranashi Chakraborty, P. Devendran, T. Venkat Narayana Rao, G. Anil Kumar, G. Nagaraj
Abstract: This research aims to develop neuromorphic polymer composites by combining conductive sensing materials, IoT-based sensing data collection and brain-inspired learning models for adaptive response. Hybrid conductive polymer composites were developed by adding carbon nanofibers and graphene Nano platelets to a thermoplastic polymer. IoT sensors (strain, temperature) were employed to collect real-time sensing data that was combined with environmental data. A material-aware neuromorphic learning algorithm was created with event-driven spike coding …

Cyber-Secure IoT Framework for Monitoring Fiber-Reinforced Polymer Composites Using Embedded SensorsBy Pasuluri Bindu Swetha, Vandana Ahuja, Sunil Kr Pandey, Pacha Supriya, Sohan Das, G. Nagaraj
Abstract: The present research paper suggests a cyber-safe Internet of Things system in real-time monitoring of fiber-reinforced polymer composites with inbuilt sensors. It is aimed at enhancing structural health maintenance, using sensual, intelligent analysis, and data protection in the same platform. Multi-layer architecture An embedded sensor, signal processing, anomaly detection and lightweight layer of cyber-security are developed. Experimental validation is done under controlled conditions and the performance is measured by these …
