Abstract: Studies have proven the antidiabetic property of fruit, seeds and pulp of Cucumis sativus. Hence, to investigate the antidiabetic property of the leaf, the aqueous leaf extract of Cucumis sativus L. (Cucurbitaceae) was investigated on alloxan induced type 2 diabetic rats.
