Abstract: Rare earth ion induced ZnO has improved electrical and optical properties that can find application in electronic and optoelectronic devices. When it is synthesised in nano regime the properties become much more useful for light emitting diodes and laser diodes. Here, stoichiometric CeO2:ZnO composite nanosized powder is synthesized by combustion method. XRD results reveal the formation of CeO2:ZnO composite nanopowders.
