Sol-Gel Auto-Combustion Synthesis and LPG Sensing Performance of Mg(x) Fe(x-1)2O4 (X=0.1 to 0.9) NanoparticlesBy R Tirupathi, T Sreekanth, K Jhansi, CH Ashok, K Venkateswara Rao
Abstract: Spinal ferrites are having important electronic materials because of their electrical and magnetic properties. MgFe2O4 gas sensors have important parameters such as phase formation, crystallite size, particle size, grain size, surface area etc. The present work provides comprehensive study of the mesoporous Mg(x)Fe(x-1)2O4 nanoparticles which were synthesized via sol-gel auto-combustion method. The main objective of the current research is to study the influence by increasing the concentration of ferrite with …

SnO2 Nanoparticles: Preparation, Characterization and Humidity Sensor ApplicationBy CH Ashok, K Venkateswara Rao, Ch. Shilpa Chakra, K. Ganapathi Rao, N. Sudheer Kumar
Abstract: The microwave-assisted synthesis method is used to prepare SnO2 nanoparticles for the application of humidity sensor, because of oxygen vacancy in the lattice. Microwave-assisted method is very simple, low cost and rapid heating method. Room temperature ionic liquids and tin source were used in the reaction as precursors. The obtained SnO2 nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffractometer, particle size analyser, Fourier transform infrared spectroscope, and thermo gravimetric-differential thermal analyser. The …
