Abstract: In this article analysis of shear strength parameters of Ennore Sand is given using the direct shear test. The shear strength parameters of cohesion and angle of shearing resistance are employed in the construction of geotechnical constructions to describe the soil's ability to sustain shear stress when subjected to a certain load.
