6000 inhibitors for aluminum and its alloysBy Kalpana Mahato, Bangshidhar goswami
Abstract: 6XXX series of aluminum alloys suffer from severe corrosion in acidic saline medium. These alloys are used for architectural, automobiles, aviation, household appliances, containers and electronic devices. Organic-inorganic sol-gel hybrid coatings are synthesized on these alloys. Rear earth inhibitors consider lanthanum inhibitors to be better than cerium inhibitors. These contexts discuss epoxy-silica-zirconia by sol-gel coatings, paddy residue, colchicines, rare earth coatings and ionic liquid for composites

5000 Series of Aluminum and Its Alloys Opaque by InhibitorsBy Kalpana Mahato, Bangshidhar goswami
Abstract: 5XXX series of alloys are prepared for marine applications. Light weight, strength, low maintenance and inherent tendency to form passivity surfacing have selected these alloys for manufacture of cargo ships. Anti corrosive paints have been traditional protections in these alloys. Workers exposed to chromate residues during sanding of aircraft and recoating have increased risk of cancer to 250,000-fold higher. These paints are hazardous for aquatic life, so eco-friendly corrosion inhibitors …

Inhibitors of steel corrosion in pipelinesBy Kalpana Mahato, Bangshidhar goswami
Abstract: Traditions of similarity in test methods have evaluated different efficiencies of different inhibitors. Electrostatically adsorbed green organic inhibitors act as mixed type double layer interactions to steel surfaces. Hydro distillation of plant originated oils is good inhibitors to corrosion of steel, achieved from medicinal grounds. Drinking water corrosion responds maximum numbers of ionic variables to deal with additive mechanical variables for studies in corrosion of steel. Intentional injections of HCl …

Inhibitors for steel implementsBy Kalpana Mahato, Bangshidhar goswami
Abstract: Oil and gas industries use corrosion inhibitors made of active inhibitor intermediate, carboxylic acid, demulsifier and surfactant in aromatic solvent, and alcohol. High pressure and high temperature oil well flow lines are made of steel pipes. These pipes are prone to corrosion from gaseous contamination, oil quality, flow rate, developed shear stress of turbulence, pump spar techniques, etc. Carbon dioxide to carbolic acid conversion at below 100oC temperature appears to …

Aluminum and its Alloys to Recover from Corrosive WeatherBy Kalpana Mahato, Bangshidhar goswami
Abstract: Corrosion is defined as deterioration of material, usually metal, because of reaction with its environment and which requires presence of an anode, a cathode, an electrolyte and an electrical circuit. Aluminum and its alloys are reactive to weather of exposure, e.g. ambient, acid and alkalis. Solid to pigments are prevented from corrosion by using inhibitors. Organic inhibitors are ever praised due to non-toxic performances. Basic processes are surface adsorption to …
