  Abstract: This study explores Theoretical and numerical tools of determining the free vibration properties of isotropic and fiber-reinforced composite rectangular plates. The effect of anisotropy of materials on the dynamic response of the plates is compared between the Aluminium plates and the glass-epoxy laminates.
