Abstract: Probiotic strain, Lactobacillus casei was isolated from the probiotic suspension named as Yakult. Strains of Candida albicans were collected from the S.N. Medical College, Agra, India. The antagonistic effect of L. casei against C. albicans was dictated by utilizing the Kirby Bauer disc diffusion technique.
