Abstract: Noyyal River is a tributary of Cauvery River which rises from Vellingiri hills in Western Ghats, Tamilnadu South eastern India and drains in to Cauvery River. The river flows through four states, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Karur and Erode in western Tamilnadu. Till the river reaches Tirupur, the pollution concentration is considerably low.
