Effect of Temperature on Inhibitory Efficacy of Tamarindus indica fruit extract on acid corrosion of AluminiumBy Arvind Kumar Meena
Abstract: An attempt has been made to investigate the anti-corrosive propensity of ethanolic extract of Tamarindus indica fruit at elevated temperature between 303 to 343 K, so as to replace the exploitation of toxic chemicals as corrosion inhibitors. Inhibition efficiency has been observed significantly high (84.06%) at room temperature at concentration 0.45 %. The inhibition efficiency is found to increase with increasing concentration of extract and decrease with rise in temperature. …
