Abstract: The path breaking revolutionary proprietary Siddha drug NIKU plus was evaluated for the anti-diabetic activity and was compared with madhumegachooranam. The study findings clearly showed that NIKU is superior over madhumegachooranam. The careful integration of Siddha wisdom and modern science is attributed for the superior efficacy of NIKU plus over madhumegachooranam. Abstract: The present study discusses about the HPTLC confirmation of the herbs used in the Siddha drug – Keshraksha gel. The study findings clearly confirm that all the herbs are well preserved in the gel base without any disintegration or denaturation.
