A Compact Pellet Drum Shape Microstrip Patch Antenna

Abstract: This paper consists of microstrip patch antenna designed with coaxial feed technique. The antenna is mainly anticipated to be used for UMTS wireless applications. The results illustrate that wide bandwidth of 33.26% is obtained covering the frequency range from 2.03 to 2.84 GHz. Next, the characteristics of the designed structure are investigated by using MoM based electromagnetic solver, IE3d. Finally, a broad analysis of the return loss, radiation pattern and …

2.9 GHz Plus Slotted Square Microstrip Patch Antenna

Abstract: This paper contains microstrip patch antenna designed by way of coaxial feed technique. The antenna is mainly intended to be used for WiMAX middle band (3.25–3.85 GHz) wireless applications. The result shows that wide bandwidth of 68.46% is obtained covering the frequency range from 2.32 to 4.73 GHz. The characteristics of the designed structure are investigated by using MoM based on electromagnetic solver, IE3d. In the end, an extensive analysis …

A Defected Ground Textile Antenna for Bluetooth/WLAN Applications

Abstract: A novel design of a slotted antenna for Bluetooth & WLAN Applications is presented in this paper. Modifications of the initial rectangular design for improving return loss and bandwidth are proposed and discussed. The proposed antenna was successfully developed by using CST Microwave Studio and fabricated prototype by using jeans substrate and copper tape. The proposed textile antenna covers a wide impedance bandwidth of about 81.46 %. The proposed antenna …
