Abstract: Endodontic retreatment is an integral component of the endodontics which encompasses the efforts to salvage a failing previously endodontically treated tooth. A case is presented of a mandibular first molar which was earlier endodontically treated and during the course of a period; it developed symptoms radiographically and clinically.
