  Abstract: Ferulic acid is a ubiquitous phenolic acid present in the plants. This phenolic acid is of low toxicity and can easily be absorbed and metabolized in the human body. Ferulic acid has many physiological functions such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-thrombotic and anti-cancerous activities.
