  RP-HPLC Method for the Simultaneous Estimation of Hydrocodone and Pseudoephedrine in Pharmaceutical Dosage Form

  Abstract: A simple, rapid, specific, accurate and precise high-performance liquid chromatographic method was developed for the estimation of Hydrocodone and Pseudoephedrine in pharmaceutical dosage forms. Phenomenex C18 (250×2.2 mm ID) 4.5 µm was the column used. Methanol: Water: TEA (Tri ethyl amine) in the ratio of 50:50:0.5% (v/v/v) was the optimized mobile phase and pH was adjusted to 7.5 by using ortho-phosphoric acid.
