  Abstract: This study employs SWOT analysis to assess Afghanistan's renewable energy (RE) sector, crucial for achieving its 2030 vision and Paris Agreement commitments. Strengths include RE potential, power sector reform, feed-in tariffs, and donor support. Weaknesses involve security, technical, commercial, and financing hurdles.
