Abstract: The aim of this study was to evaluate the phytochemical and biological activity (antibacterial and antifungal) of Retama sphaerocarpa plant and the possibility to use it in pharmaceutical formulations. This plant is traditionally used only as healing remedies because of their antiseptic, antipyretic and antidiarrheal properties.
