Abstract: Acid orange 7, a synthetic organic compound, generally considered as pollutant, released from the process of chemical textile finishing process was exposed to the freshwater fish Anabas testudineus at sublethal concentration i.e., 0.27 gl-1 for 24, 72 and 96 h, maintaining ten animals per group along with the control.
