A Novel CPW-Fed Triangular Fractal Antenna with Round Corners for UWB applications
Abstract: This paper presents a novel CPW(coplanar waveguide)-fed triangular fractal antenna with round corners for UWB(ultra wideband) applications. The overall size of the proposed antenna is 20×23×1.6 mm3. The impedance bandwidth of the antenna is effectively improved by adding fractal elements at the edges. Also, rounding corners of triangular fractal antenna leads to an improvement in impedance bandwidth. And the impedance bandwidth is enhanced by adding triangular strips on two ground …

An Ultra Wideband Hexagonal Patch Antenna with Enhanced Bandwidth
Abstract: A microstrip line feed Ultra-Wideband (UWB - 3.1 to 10.6 GHz) hexagonal patch antenna with enhanced bandwidth was presented in this article. The enhancement of bandwidth (BW) is achieved by defecting the partial ground structure. The antenna is designed by FR-4 substrate with εr(dielectric constant) = 4.3 & Tan δ (loss tangent) = 0.025.Initially, a conventional hexagonal patch with a partial ground plane produces a – 10 dB bandwidth of …

Design of UWB Microwave Filter Using Quarter Wavelength Short-Circuited Stub
Abstract: UWB technology has progressed a lot in recent years for high speed wireless communications and other applications which need higher data rate and wider bandwidth. In this paper UWB bandpass filter is designed using quarter wavelength (λ0/4) short circuited stubs to improve the performance of UWB. Designed UWB filter gives higher performance and lower insertion loss in UWB spectrum. 5th order UWB bandpass filter is designed using CST MWS simulation …

UWB Band Pass Filter Using Dielectric Resonator
Abstract: A novel ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filter is proposed and implemented using a dielectric resonator, with aim of transmitting the signals in the whole UWB passband of 3.1–10.6 GHz. Ultra-wideband (UWB) is a promising innovation for some remote applications because of its expansive transfer speed, great proportion of transmission information and low power cost. The filter is compact in size with a great simplicity in assembly and integration. The developed UWB …
