Abstract: Background: Lipoma is the most common benign soft tissue tumor, with an incidence of approximately 2 per 1,000 individuals annually. Modern biomedicine attributes its pathogenesis to genetic abnormalities like HMGA2 rearrangements and dysregulated adipogenesis via PPARγ pathways. Effective pharmacological therapies are lacking.
