  Abstract: This paper presents a novel approach to network intrusion detection systems (NIDS) using advanced decision tree algorithms to address critical limitations in existing IDS solutions. Traditional IDSs often struggle with high false positive and negative rates, lack of scalability, and poor interpretability.
