A Finite Element Solution of Functionally Graded Rotating Disk based on Element based Material Grading
Abstract: The present study reports finite element elastic analysis of variable thickness rotating disks made up of functionally graded materials (FGMs). The disks have exponentially varying material properties along the radius, which is achieved by varying the volume fraction ratio.
