Split Ring Resonator Based Dual Frequency Microstrip Patch Antenna For Wireless Applications
Abstract: The objective of the work is to design a compact dual frequency microstrip antenna (MSA) at GSM 1800 MHz and ISM (2.4 GHz). The proposed MSA incorporates a rectangular patch with an inverted U slot printed on the top of RT duroid 5880 substrate with thickness of 0.8mm and dielectric constant of 2.2. The dimensions of the patch are optimized as 45x 54 mm2. It is fed by coaxial feeding. …
