Abstract: Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) has matured over the past decade from a specialist technique applied to challenging wells into a mainstream drilling capability spanning ultra-HPHT exploration, deepwater development, unconventional tight-gas multi-well campaigns, and naturally fractured sour-gas reservoirs.
