Predicting the Rice Production of Bangladesh by Machine Learning Technique
Abstract: Bangladesh is an agricultural country and its economic condition largely depends on agriculture. The country produces much agricultural merchandise like rice, jute, wheat, onion, chilly, banana, garlic, ginger, pulse and so on. However, rice (Oryza Sativa) is produced most widely all over the country. Moreover, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), 2017 estimate that the rice production of Bangladesh is 34.7 million metric tons for the period 2017–2018 and the …

Strength Prediction and Optimization of Portland Limestone Cement Blended with Metakaolin and Rice Husk Ash
Abstract: This study explores the effects of Rice Husk Ash (RHA) and Metakaolin (MK) on the compressive strength of Portland Limestone Cement (PLC) mortar, aiming to promote sustainable construction materials. RHA and MK, derived from agricultural and industrial byproducts, serve as supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) that offer environmental benefits and improve cement properties. Using response surface methodology (RSM) and central composite design (CCD), the research optimized the ternary blend of PLC, …

Use of Response Surface Methodology to Optimize the Formulation of Rice based Gluten Free Bread and Its Characterization
Abstract: The formulation for gluten free bread was optimized on the basis of specific volume, crumb firmness and overall acceptability of the bread. A rotatable central composite design (CCRD) was applied on three control variables viz. xanthan gum, extruded rice flour and corn starch varying within the range (-α to +α) of 0.5–1.5%, 15–35% and 15–35% w/w, respectively. All three responses were significantly (p<0.05) affected by the combinations of independent variable. …
