Abstract

Human brain is a very complex structure of the whole body which actually contains millions of the neurons which are playing a vital role in controlling and maintaining the behaviour of the human body when we talk about the internal or external sensory stimuli. These neurons actually carry the message from the brain to body and body to brain. It acts as the messenger between the body and the brain. Now behaviour of the human can be classified or visualized on the basis of motor and sensory states. Like, the lip movement, remembrance, eye movement or attention, hand clenching and many more. Each of the activity is related with the some specific signal frequency. And these signal frequency helps in understanding the functional behaviour of the complex structure of the brain. This can be done by the EEG modality which is very efficient in order to get the pre-requisite data. Corresponds to these signals from EEG we can categorize them in different frequency range say delta, theta, alpha, gamma and many more. The range of these frequencies lies between 0.1 to 100 Hz. The main focus of this paper is the EEG signals different parts of the brain along with the characteristics. It also enhances the experimental setup which is required in the EEG analysis. Keywords: Electroencephalography, artifacts, FFT, phases, human brain, electrodes, modalityCite this ArticleKumar Yogesh R.
