Around 5 million babies die off in their first month, whereas 1 million die on their first day itself, this is the worldwide statistic of child death. The cause which is attributed to at least 25% of neonatal deaths and low birth weight (LBW), directly or indirectly, is preterm birth. Due to lack of consistent heat, about 2 million babies die off each year, until they gain the body fat and metabolic rate for staying warm. This project is for the purpose of preventing death of babies in such situations. This microcontroller based incubator is cost efficient as compared to the incubators used in big hospitals. So, this project can help everyone who is not in a condition to afford expensive baby incubators.
