Abstract

Neuralink, established by Elon Musk in 2016, is a neurotechnology firm focused on creating advanced brain-machine interfaces (BMIs) with enhanced data transfer capabilities. These interfaces aim to enable individuals to communicate more effectively and gain a deeper understanding of interactions with computers and other devices. One of the company's best experiences is the development of a new implantable device called the Neuralink chip. The Neuralink chip is a small device built into the brain that interacts directly with neurons. The chip contains an array of ultra- thin electrodes thinner than a human hair, attached to a small coin-shaped module on the outside of the skull. Electrodes are implanted in the brain using a specially designed robot to minimize damage to the brain and nerves. When implanted, the Neuralink chip can record and support neural activity in real time. This allows the device to identify and interpret the signals produced by the brain and send them wirelessly to other devices such as a computer or smartphone. The chip can also provide feedback to the brain by stimulating neurons in response to external signals such as visual or auditory cues. The possible applications for the Neuralink chip are numerous. For example, it can be used to help paralyzed people control joints or other devices using only their senses. It can also treat various neurological and psychological diseases by providing targeted stimulation of certain areas of the brain. Additionally, it can be used to enhance intelligence or enable new communication and collaboration between humans and machines.
