Synthesis and Characterization of MoS2 for OLED Application

Abstract

The current research work was carried out to synthesis the Molybdenum disulfide. Molybdenum disulfide has been synthesis by liquid exfoliation technique is synthesis with the help of chemical method. After that we have performed various characterizations to study the Molybdenum Disulfide to find its optical, structural & electronic properties by UV – vis, FTIR, Raman, SEM and AFM. MoS2 also coated on a silicon wafer with the help of spin coater machine and thenprepare a device by assembling the electrodes as anode and cathode. MoS2 thin film on a silicon wafer is used as cathode electrode material due to its n-type semiconducting properties and polyaniline is as anode electrode material due to p-type properties as well as highly conductivity.
