On The Energization and Steady-State Performance of 6-Pulse Diode Bridge Rectifiers Supplying Constant Voltage Loads
Abstract: The paper addresses the analysis of 3-phase 6-pule diode bridge rectifier circuits supplying a special load category representable by constant voltage sources. The applied Mathematica-based solution technique can handle symmetrical and unsymmetrical 3-phase voltages. The presented results include the phase currents on the AC side as well as the magnitude and wave shape of the output current on the DC side. Several case studies demonstrating the impact of the source’s …

Review and Design of Voltage Sag Compensation Using Improved DVR System with Proportional Integral Controller
Abstract: The aim of this investigation is to remunerate voltage inthree-stage power systems during voltage sag conditions induced bybalanced and unsymmetrical deficiencies in power distributionsystems or offices in plants. Voltage plunges (also known as "voltagesags") are abrupt drops in voltage size. Their definition is usuallyanywhere between a couple of power-system recurrence trends and acouple of moments. The popularity of voltage plunges stemsprimarily from their effect on end-client hardware. Mechanicalprocesses can fail …

MATLAB Simulation of Battery Interconnection with PV Panels for Standalone Solar Plant
Abstract: In this paper we have shown interconnection of battery and standalone solar PV plant. Varying solar incident radiation during whole day creates a problem of demand and supply mismatch in standalone solar PV plant. Standalone plant often refers to islanding mode of operation of solar PV plant. To overcome this problem we came up with a solution to interconnect battery with solar PV plant. So in excess power generation state …
