Rectangular Patch Antenna with Dual and Triple-band using Complementary Split ring Resonator (CSRR)
Abstract: This paper presents the idea of a Complementary Split Ring Resonator (CSRR)-based multiband microstrip patch antenna. By etching the CSRR in the ground plane of the conventional rectangular patch antenna, several bands are obtained, thereby miniaturizing the conventional antenna. This article examined and contrasted the results of the microstrip antenna with two, four and six CSRR inclusions. Because of the quasi-static resonance properties of the complementary split square resonators, the …

A Performance Analysis of Hybrid Energy Storage System for Light Electric Vehicle with MATLAB/Simulink
Abstract: In this present time of automobile industry and our dependence upon fossil fuel for transportation is increasing day-by-day. Our excessive use of conventional energy source led us to the problem like global warming, increasing pollution in environment is major threat. To sort out this major issue up to some point, we can use Electric Vehicles (EV). In this paper, Hybrid Energy Storage System (HESS) for light electric vehicle is proposed. …

Electrical Energy Crisis in Pakistan and Their Possible Solutions
Abstract: This work presents the shortage of electrical energy which has been facing by Pakistan for many decades. The main cause of energy crisis has faced due to gap between energy demand and its supply. Pakistan in heavily dependent on fossil fuels to generate electricity these conventional energy resources are not only expensive but have significant effects on environment and the government paid huge amount of money to import the crude …

Transients of Short-Circuits and Fault Clearance in 6-Pulse Diode Rectifiers
Abstract: The paper addresses the short-circuit transients in 6-pulse diode rectifier bridges. It includes also an investigation into the transients resulting from the subsequent fault clearance. Unit-step functions are efficiently used for representing the diode characteristics and emulating the fault switching actions. The short-circuit fault and its subsequent clearance are simulated by means of a time-dependent shunt resistance at the rectifier terminals. The governing set of simultaneous algebraic and differential equations …
